Under Australian Consumer Law, you have certain rights regarding our goods that cannot be excluded. These Terms do not seek to limit or exclude those rights in any way.

Products and Services

Mirra Interiors operates the Site as an online store for the sale and purchase of retail goods. Our website may contain information from various suppliers of retail products. The Site offers you the opportunity to purchase goods and services provided by these suppliers, which are sold through Mirra Interiors.

We strive to provide accurate descriptions for all the products listed on our website. However, from time to time, errors or inaccuracies may occur. We reserve the right to correct any such issues as they arise.

Please note that many of our products are handmade or crafted from natural or organic materials, which may result in slight variations between the product image(s) and the actual item you receive. If this applies to a product, it will be clearly stated on the product page. While we make every effort to ensure that the colours displayed on our website are as accurate as possible, colours may appear differently on various screens and devices. This is not a fault or error but rather a result of varying screen settings.

We also reserve the right to remove products from our website, as well as edit or remove any content or materials, at our discretion. Any such changes will take effect as soon as they are published, but they will not affect orders that have already been placed.

Pricing and Payments

All prices displayed on our website are in Australian dollars. Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.

We accept payment by various methods including by credit card, PayPal, Afterpay and a range of other payment options as displayed on the website and during the checkout process.

PayPal

The PayPal service is provided by PayPal Australia Pty Limited (ABN 93 111 195 389) which holds Australian Financial Services Licence number 304962. Fees, eligibility criteria and terms & conditions apply. Please read and consider the Combined Financial Services Guide and Product Disclosure Statement before acquiring or using this service. PayPal credit services are provided by PayPal Credit Pty Limited (ACN 600 629 258) and is not a service provided by Mirra Interiors.

Afterpay

Payment Security 

We use Shopify Payments, a trusted third-party payment processor, to securely handle your payments. When you make a purchase, they collect the necessary details, such as your credit/debit card number, CVV, and expiration date, to complete the transaction. Shopify Payments may process this information according to their own privacy policy and terms, and we don’t store or access your full payment details.

While we take every precaution to protect your information, we cannot be held liable for any losses or damages (whether direct or indirect) resulting from fraudulent use of your card or payment details unless it’s due to our own negligence.

In an effort to prevent fraudulent use of credit cards and other payment methods, we may perform additional checks to verify the legitimacy of your payment and order. This may include asking for proof of identity or confirming the validity of your payment method. If there are concerns about the authenticity of an order, it will be placed on hold until we’ve completed the necessary checks. If we’re unable to verify the transaction, we reserve the right to cancel the order.

Promotional Codes & Special Offers

Promotional codes and special offers cannot be exchanged for cash, used to buy gift cards, applied to past purchases, and are non-transferrable. Only one promotional code or special offer can be used per transaction.

To qualify for a promotional discount or free shipping, the minimum order value must be met in a single transaction. Shipping and order protection costs are not included in the minimum order value required for discounts. 

Promotional codes must be entered at cart checkout in to the ‘Discount code’ field.

Mirra Interiors reserves the right to withdraw or extend any promotional offers at its discretion, at any time during the promotional period.

Free & Discounted Shipping

At certain times, Mirra Interiors may offer free shipping, flat-rate shipping, capped price shipping, or other types of shipping promotions on specific products. These promotions will apply only to selected items, for standard shipping, and to designated locations within Australia. 

Online Orders

You can place an order for products using the shopping cart feature on our Site. All items listed are subject to availability and may be discontinued without notice. We are not responsible for any products that are unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances. If an item is on backorder, we will keep a record of your order and ship it as soon as it becomes available, unless we inform you otherwise.

Once your order is placed and payment is processed, you will receive an email confirming that we have received your order. Please note, this email is not a guarantee that the products are in stock—it simply confirms that we’ve received your request. Your order is considered an offer to purchase, which we accept when we dispatch the product(s) and send you a confirmation email that your items have been shipped.

We reserve the right to cancel your order for any reason, including but not limited to: a breach of these Terms, product unavailability, pricing errors, incorrect product descriptions, issues with payment or shipping details, fraud prevention, excessive returns or chargebacks, shipping restrictions, product recalls, technical errors, or failure to meet minimum order requirements. If your order is cancelled, we will notify you via email, and you can choose to receive either a full refund or store credit.

Delivery

Shipping and freight will be calculated based on the shipping address provided using the most suitable logistics company we or our suppliers have contracted. Mirra Interiors and/or our suppliers will attempt to dispatch all orders within 5 business days from the date of order. However, we are not responsible for shipping delays caused by our suppliers or delivery partners or external factors outside of our control. From time to time, the estimated dispatch time frame may exceed our usual stated window for reasons outside of our control or if payment is subject to a fraud check. 

If stock is ordered from our overseas warehouses, there may be a delay of up to six (6) weeks. We will notify you of any unexpected delays as soon as possible.

Any delay in the delivery or supply of goods does not relieve you from your obligation to accept or pay for the goods.

We reserve the right to cancel an order (or part there-of) in very exceptional cases where we are unable to deliver your order due to undeliverable postcodes or unusually high freight charges. 

Failure to Deliver

The delivery address must be an address within Australia and cannot be a PO Box or Parcel Locker. Please ensure that all the information you provide, especially your delivery address, is accurate before completing your order. If you enter an incorrect address, you will be responsible for any additional shipping or re-delivery costs required to redirect your delivery. If our delivery partner is unable to complete your delivery due to an error or fault on your part, we reserve the right to cancel your order. In such cases, we will issue a refund for the cost of the items, minus the shipping and reasonable handling fees to cover our loss. 

For large and bulky items, such as furniture, please ensure that someone is available to accept the delivery. If the delivery is rejected or the location is unattended (unless an Authority To Leave has been authorised), additional delivery charges and a re-delivery fee will apply.

Risk & Title

Risk and title to the products remains with Mirra Interiors until full payment is made. The title, along with the risk of loss or damage passes to you on the date and time of delivery of the products to you by our delivery provider or to the Authority To Leave (ATL) address. Mirra Interiors or our delivery partners accept no responsibility for any deliveries marked as Authority to Leave, once delivered to your address.

You should consider obtaining suitable insurance for the goods. We may offer additional shipping protection insurance at checkout for your peace of mind.

Change of Mind Returns

Please choose carefully, as we do not offer refunds for change of mind or incorrect selection.

If you change your mind, you may return eligible homewares items* within 14 days of delivery for a store credit. Exclusions apply.

Conditions:

• The goods are returned within 14 days from the date of delivery.
• Items must be in their original condition, with all original labels, tickets, barcodes, and packaging intact.
  
• Store credits are valid for one (1) year from the issue date.

If you choose to return an item due to a change of mind, you are responsible for all associated shipping costs. This includes the original shipping charges incurred when the product was delivered to you, as well as the cost of returning the product to us. This applies regardless of any free, discounted, or promotional shipping offers that may have been applied at the time of your order.

Exclusions:

We do not accept change of mind returns for:

• Products from the Furniture, Rugs, Lighting, Mirrors, and Wall Art collections
• Heavy/oversized/extra fragile homewares
• Clearance items
• Sample goods
• Seasonal products
• Gift Cards
• Items for commercial use

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions. Any refused items will be returned to you at your expense.

Return Instructions:

• Please contact us for a return form BEFORE sending the item back to us.
  
• We recommend using a traceable and insured postage method, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged returns.
• If we do not receive the returned items, we cannot issue a store credit (or refund).

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not comply with our returns policy. Refused items will be returned to you at your expense.

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Change of mind returns are different to returning a product under the Australian Consumer Law if the product is faulty.

Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), you have certain rights as a consumer that cannot be excluded. These rights include consumer guarantees that our products will:

• Be of acceptable quality and not fault or unsafe.
• Match the description provided.
• Be fit for their intended purpose.

These Terms do not limit or exclude your rights under the ACL in any way.

If a product has a major fault, you are entitled to a replacement or a refund. If the product does not meet reasonable quality standards but does not have a major fault, you are entitled to a repair or replacement.

Gift Cards

Customers can purchase digital Gift Cards from our website.

Upon purchase, the digital Gift Card will be emailed to the recipient’s email address provided by the purchaser. The email will contain instructions to redeem the Gift Card.

Gift Cards can only be used for purchases on our website. If the total purchase amount is less than the Gift Card balance, the remaining amount will be credited to the recipient’s account for future use. If the purchase exceeds the Gift Card balance, the recipient will need to pay the difference using another payment method. The remaining balance can be checked under 'My Account.' If a purchase made with a Gift Card is canceled or returned, the portion of the refund attributed to the Gift Card will be issued as store credit only.

Gift Cards expire 3 years from the date of purchase, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. Expiry dates cannot be changed, and any unused balance after the expiry date will no longer be available.

Gift Cards are non-transferable and cannot be returned or exchanged for cash, either in full or in part. Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards. Please treat your Gift Card as cash. You are responsible for its use and security. Mirra Interiors is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from lost or stolen Gift Cards, or if a Gift Card is used without permission. Lost or stolen Gift Cards will not be replaced or refunded.

Force Majeure

Mirra Interiors will not be held liable for any failure or delay in the performance of our obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, fire, flood, earthquake, war, terrorism, strikes, lockouts, labor disputes, governmental actions, pandemics, disruptions in supply chains, transportation delays, or any other event that is unforeseeable or beyond our control.

In the event of a Force Majeure, we will make reasonable efforts to mitigate the impact of the situation and resume our obligations as soon as possible. However, we are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from such events.

Changes to the Site and Terms

We may, from time to time, add or remove information, products, or services from this Site without notice.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time without notice, and we may terminate your access to this Site at any time without notice. Your continued use of this Site following such notification will represent an agreement by you to be bound by the Terms as amended. Where your access to this Site is terminated, all disclaimers and limitations of liability set out in these Terms will survive.
