What exactly is a Pre-build Colour & Design Consultation?

It’s a virtual service where we help you select cohesive colours, finishes, and materials for your renovation or new build. From paint and tiles to flooring and cabinetry, you’ll walk away with a full selections schedule to guide your design decisions with confidence.

Is this just for neutral or black-and-white homes?

Definitely not! I work with colour all day, every day—and I love helping clients bring personality into their spaces. Whether you lean neutral, bold, earthy, or vibrant, your colour and finish selections will be completely tailored to your style, your space, and how you want your home to feel.

What do I need to provide before we get started?

We’ll send you a welcome email after purchase with a quick checklist that includes your floor plans, photos (for renovations), a completed questionnaire, and any inspiration images.

This ensures we tailor everything to your taste and space.

How long does the process take?

Once we’ve received all required information and had our initial video chat, you’ll receive your full Colour & Finishes Presentation typically within 2-3 weeks, depending on the size of the home.

Please note: Time-frames can vary depending on sample sourcing.

Will I get to review the selections?

Yes—after receiving your Colour Selections package, you will have an opportunity to provide feedback. One revision is included to make any necessary tweaks.

What if I need more than one revision?

No problem! Additional revisions can be purchased for a small fee. Most clients find one round is more than enough though!

What if I’ve already made some selections?

No problem—we’ll work with what you’ve already selected and build around those elements. If you're open to it, we can also suggest thoughtful alternatives to ensure your final scheme feels cohesive and considered.

Do you offer in-person consultations?

This service is conducted 100% online. If you're located in North Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast and would prefer an in-person session, get in touch!

Do you offer Colour Consultation services outside of Australia?

At this time, our virtual services are available to clients within Australia.

What’s your refund policy?

Design service fees are non-refundable once work has started. That said, we want you to feel completely satisfied—and we’re always happy to work with you if any concerns arise.
